Company History
For over 20 years, Daniel and Robert Poole have designed, developed and patented many successful hardware and industrial products. The patents were sold to, and marketed by, several prominent companies under many top brand names, including 3M, Stanley, American Tool, DAP and Ramco.
The development and patenting of the Self-Adjusting Locking Pliers and C-clamps etc. was a marked change from the standard locking pliers that have not significantly changed for almost 83 years. These unique self-adjusting pliers prompted the formation of the Poole’s own Company, Lockjaw LLC.
Lockjaw’s headquarters, sales, marketing and distribution center is located in Chicago, Illinois while Lockjaw’s team of inventors, designers and engineers continue new product development in the original facility located in Scottsdale, Arizona. With all the pieces in place, Lockjaw’s goal is to provide unique tools for the professional and do-it-yourselfer. We are a product driven company that supplies many markets, including hardware, automotive, industrial and construction.
